The Wire之所以被称为神剧，抓住西施的两只大兔子主题曲是因为它对社会各个群体的刻画是前无古人、后无来者的，更不要提它悲天悯人的主基调。我从未见过任何一部剧的创作者可以花费如此的耐心和笔墨去调查并复刻毒贩生态。警察？也许。教师？也许。记者？也许。政客？也许。毒贩？NEVER. 所有一起来？Never, and never will be.

2022/10/24 Big gear up from last film. Good cinematographer. Miles better acting. The atmosphere is top-notch, especially the first half hour of the movie. When 80s new wave start to play, everything clicked. Freddy Krueger like dream sequence, reminds me Dream Warriors the most. The new little girl Pierrot is also very impressive, especially her first appearance in the prologue. The gore is over the top violent, kind of like trash cinema (Street Trash, Frank Henenlotter and of course Troma). The downside is the length. Any horror film over 100 mins is a crime, unless you are Hereditary.
